Front Pivot Bushing Wear: Signs It’s Time to Replace
Loose front wheels or sticky pivoting often point to a worn bushing. Here’s what Toro Part 147-0519 fixes.
The front pivot bushing keeps the mower’s front assembly moving smoothly. As it wears, you may feel wander, binding, or uneven tracking when turning.
Toro Part #147-0519 replaces the older #136-5875 bushing. If the old bushing is cracked, ovalized, or missing material, install the OEM replacement rather than stretching the old one.
Clean the pivot area before install, grease lightly if your model calls for it, and confirm free movement of the front wheels after reassembly.
